Picnic in University Park Oxford

On Thursday myself, Bre, Hallie and Cheyenne went on a picnic to the beautiful University Park. We cooked a pizza, brought a sheet and laid out on the grass and afterwards got some ice cream. Just enjoyed the beautiful 70 degree weather and breeze. This is the entrance to the park and the start of the path that goes all the way around it.

Nahsville was brought up so we ended up playing Ho Hey by those two unbelievable young girls on repeat. For about an hour and a half. At one point, a dog came up to us and Bre encouraged it to bite her because she said she wanted to see what a hospital was like over here, but unfortunately that didn't happen for her.

In the park, there was huge manicured fields where people were playing cricket and some really pretty grass tennis courts which I had never seen before. This house on the left looked like a viewing area. We walked around the path and there were lots of beautiful flowers. The roses smelled so strong.

The rest are just several pictures from the trail and everything was so beautiful. After ice cream we went downstairs to our professors "flat", the Stewarts. They are so awesome.

On Friday we thought about going to London but stayed in Oxford instead and it was so fun. We went to the grocery store with the Stewart girls and bought food. We had Ravioli and bruschetta and for dessert we had peanut butter and chocolate cookies. The rest of the night we hung out and Dr. Stewart and his daughters sang some songs, including some T-Swift, Beatles, and Gotye. It was so fun. The next day we went to London!
